IT-oLogy and the South Carolina Department of Education are pleased to announce the Innovation Challenge, a new statewide competition for students in grades 3-12. The purpose of the Challenge is to create projects using technology to solve, or bring awareness to a problem in the community. Examples could include:
- Robotics
- Web Design
- App Development
- Graphic Design
- Video/Audio
- Virtual Reality
The top innovators chosen from each of three age divisions (elementary, middle and high school) will showcase their projects at the South Carolina State Fair on Saturday, October 21. Additionally, innovators will be awarded scholarships, cool technology prizes, free IT-oLogy workshop registration and more.
“The South Carolina Innovation Challenge will encourage our students to design, create, and take their use of technology to a whole new level. We are proud to partner with IT-oLogy to help motivate students across South Carolina to be innovative in solving real world problems in their local communities,” said South Carolina Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman.
