Regional Housing Industry Organizations to Host Upstate Housing Market Forecasting Event February 8th

The Home Builders Association of Greenville, the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS, the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce and the Upstate Mortgage Lenders Association are honored to present the Upstate Housing Market Forecast on Thursday, February 8, at the TD Convention Center. The event is open to the public, although space is limited, and will feature insights from regional housing industry leaders.
“The housing industry has experienced a plethora of changes throughout the past few years and we don’t expect this rapid pace to ease up anytime soon,” Michael Dey, HBA of Greenville’s CEO, said. “We want to share expert insight with our attendees, so they can stay ahead of the trends particularly in the Upstate’s housing market. It’s all about education and supporting local businesses.”
The luncheon will feature speaker Dr. Joseph Von Nessen, Research Economist and Director of the Real Estate Center at the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. The Professional Women in Building Council and the Sales and Marketing Council SMC will host breakout sessions during the morning set to include the following:

9 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Speed Networking with Home Builders with the Sales and Marketing Council of the Upstate

9 a.m. to 10 a.m.: How Tax Reform Will Affect You with Rick Reames III from Nexsen Pruet, LLC

10 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Trends and Economics of Real Estate Development with John Hunt, MarketNsight Principal
