Regional Talent Attraction Initiative Launching at Upstate SC Alliance Annual Meeting April 17th

Upstate industries have invested more than $10.5 billion and announced nearly 27,200 new jobs in the last 5 years.

To help Upstate employers sustain their economic momentum, the Upstate SC Alliance will launch a regional talent attraction initiative at its 2019 Annual Meeting. The initiative promotes job opportunities and quality of life across the 10-county Upstate.

The initiative includes a brand and website that companies can use while recruiting candidates in a variety of professional fields, including: biotechnology + healthcare, accounting + finance, construction, architecture + engineering, education and more.

It was created with support from the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce and Ten at the Top.

When: Wednesday, April 17

  • Registration & Networking: 11:30 a.m. – noon

  • Program & Luncheon: Noon-1:30 p.m.

Where: The Greenville Convention Center, 1 Exposition Drive, Greenville SC 29615

Who: Last year’s meeting drew more than 400 public and private leaders from across the 10-county Upstate region. This year’s is anticipated to draw the same crowd, as the initiative was created with support from the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce and Ten at the Top.
