Friday, August 30th, 2019
Kopis, a leading software development company, has been named one of the 25 fastest growing companies in South Carolina.
Now in its 18th year, the SC TOP 25 Fastest Growing Companies competition recognizes the achievements of top-performing private and publicly owned companies that have contributed to South Carolina’s economy through exceptional increases in revenues and employment.
25 Fastest Growing Companies, which includes SC TOP 25, SC Excellence in Business Awards and SC Economic Impact Award, was founded as a way to honor the Palmetto State’s most dynamic businesses and their contributions to the state’s economic vitality.
The program is presented by The Capital Corporation, and co-sponsored by Integrated Media Publishing (publisher of Greenville Business Magazine, Columbia Business Monthly and Charleston Business Magazine), A.T. Locke Total Accounting, PNC Bank and HUB International Carolinas.
This year’s TOP 25 highest ranking companies, SC Excellence in Business Awards and SC Economic Impact Award will be honored at a statewide luncheon to be held Oct. 22 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in Columbia. Rankings from 1-25 will be announced at the event.
Founded in 1999, Kopis has deep roots in the South Carolina technology community. With senior experience specializing in database administration and application development for healthcare and automotive manufacturing, they have a track record of success in critical areas.
This marks another award for Kopis honoring its growth. It earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list in August and was named CommunityWorks’ Entrepreneurial Success Story for 2019 in May.
“Our capabilities have increased over the years, but the main focus remains largely the same – having an amazing team dedicated to solving business problems through technology,” said Andrew Kurtz, president and CEO of Kopis. “That commitment is the main driver behind our growth.”
