Greenville Technical College is Closed While Moving Instruction to an Online Format

Following the governor’s directive, Greenville Technical College is closed until March 31, while moving instruction to an online format to the maximum extent possible through the end of the semester with this decision to be re-evaluated in mid-April.

The college’s Spring Break, originally scheduled for March 16-20, has been extended for students through the week of March 23-27. Faculty will spend the week of March 23-27 gearing up for online delivery and will begin offering instruction in that format on March 30.

Employees are staying at home unless contacted by supervisors and asked to report to work or to work from home. Necessary work that can be performed remotely is being encouraged by supervisors.

All college events, programs, and activities are suspended through March 31.

All Economic Development and Corporate Training (continuing education) offerings are cancelled through March 31.

The Child Development Center is closed through March 31.
